Valley of tears!!
I walked down a lane one day,
A day of sadness and dismay.
A one-eyed man with a teary eye
A child who kissed him on the cheeks
And, bid him forever, farewell.
I walked down a lane one day,
And happened to fall in a puddle.
The water just splashed unto my face
Dripping down like the silent rain,
Seeing a child so dim and grim.
I further walked and walked,
Where a man naked ran insane.
Unaware, unclothed, touched by grief
His pain, his misery, his body stiff.
What could have gone wrong?
I went deeper down the lane,
Blood dripping down like rain,
I could have gone deeper though
But,the fear of death led me astray
I dare not see death this way.
The valley of tears goes on
And on, and on does it always go
Of me and you and everyone,
Wails and sobs and hurts and cuts
Trickle down unto this huge valley.
The valley of tears!

Well written evocative poem!
It sounds very somber and depressing though, unlike your previous 2 poems which end on a positive note, urging action and inspire toward positive change.

Aww... Makes me nervous. I tried to read through your work replacing tears for joy. Now, that looks brighter. Isn't it?
On a serious note: I guess you are right. Only we should believe in it. Then it is easy to make amends.
